Overcast skies and cool breezes have brought a refreshing change to Lahore’s weather, with intermittent sunshine creating a pleasant atmosphere across the city. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has also predicted a chance of rain within the next 24 hours.
According to the PMD, the current temperature in Lahore has been recorded at 29°C, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 34°C later in the day.
Humidity levels stand at 82%, while winds are blowing at a speed of 6 km/h. The sky is forecast to remain partly cloudy throughout the day.
The PMD further stated that rainfall is likely in the next 24 hours, while the sixth spell of the monsoon is expected to begin from August 5. Relevant departments have been advised to stay on alert due to the forecast of seasonal rains.
