NADRA Launches Nationwide Minority Registration Campaign

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a nationwide initiative to register members of minority communities.

Running from August 4 to August 11, 2025, the campaign coincides with National Minorities Day. Its primary goal is to simplify the process for minorities to obtain or renew their identity documents.

In an official release, NADRA emphasized its dedication to equality, stating, “You are allowed to have the same rights as every other citizen.”

The drive encourages minority individuals to register themselves, thereby securing access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and participation in the electoral process.

To make the process more accessible, NADRA will deploy Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) in various areas. Those who prefer can also visit their nearest NADRA office to take advantage of the campaign.

This effort is part of NADRA’s broader digital and inclusive service strategy. The initiative has been widely welcomed as a significant step towards empowering marginalized groups.
