The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has opened admissions for its Community Midwifery Training Course, inviting young women across Karachi to pursue careers in maternal and community healthcare.
Candidates can obtain and submit application forms at the principals’ offices of the respective midwifery schools during official working hours. The deadline for submissions falls on August 10, 2026.
KMC is offering admissions at five affiliated institutions:
Clinical attachments will take place at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Sobhraj Maternity Hospital, and Gizri Maternity Hospital.
Applicants must hold a Matriculation certificate, preferably with Science and at least 40 per cent marks, and fall between the ages of 15 and 35. A valid Computerised National Identity Card and a Karachi domicile from Sindh are also required.
KMC has scheduled the written test for August 15, 2026, at 11:00 am at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, followed by interviews on August 20, 2026, at the same venue and time.
The corporation described the program as an opportunity to build a rewarding career while serving the community through maternal and child healthcare.
