The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced that it will auction multiple high-profile properties belonging to real estate tycoon Malik Riaz on August 7, 2025.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has allowed NAB to auction Bahria Town properties.
The auction will be held at the NAB Rawalpindi Office, located in G-6/1, Islamabad.
According to NAB, the properties up for auction include major commercial and recreational assets in Bahria Town Rawalpindi and Islamabad, such as:

Bahria Town Corporate Office II, Plot No. 7-D, Park Road, Phase II, Rawalpindi

Rubbish Market & Lawn, near Bahria Garden City Golf Course, Islamabad

Arena Cinema, Plot No. 984-Broad-A, Phase IV, Rawalpindi

Bahria Town International Academy, Jasmine Street & Silver Oaks Road, Zero Villas I, Rawalpindi

Safari Club, Plot No. 27, Safari Villas, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi
The assets have been attached in connection with a recent plea bargain reached in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case.

If NAB and Government is so serious then it should also sell out properties of Taj Company and Chawala company who has stolen money of millions if investors. Those affectees shoudl get all their capital invested along with the profit for the time lapsed since invested. Its people hard earned money.

Bahria Town is not new. Was NAB sleeping all these years? DHA must be behind this all and will likely take over the seized properties.This is the state of Law in this country. Actions are taken not in the interest of the State but to satisfy the whim of vested interests.

Around 14 years ago, you promised many people plots in Bahria Town Karachi, specifically in Precincts 61, 62, and 63. At that time, you collected approximately Rs. 1.7 million (17 lakh) per 5-marla plot. However, to this day, the possession of these plots has not been handed over.
At that time, the exchange rate was around Rs. 100 per US dollar, meaning Rs. 1.7 million was equivalent to approximately $17,000. Today, the exchange rate has risen to over Rs. 285 per dollar, meaning that same amount is now worth nearly Rs. 5.5 million (55 lakh). This clearly shows the financial loss suffered by the people.
We respectfully request that you fulfill your promise and deliver the plots as soon as possible.
Please remember that injustice and breaking promises have severe consequences. Even if justice is not served in this world, no one can escape the justice of Allah. Allah does not forgive those who commit zulm (oppression) unless the oppressed forgive them. We urge you to return people’s rightful property — otherwise, the punishment of Allah is severe.

Why would M. Riaz be so concerned about BT Pakistan when he’s now launching a new housing project in Dubai? He’s already reaped substantial gains from BT now he’s setting his sights on the international market. It’s unfortunate that the very person who transformed Pakistan’s housing industry and introduced the concept of quality living is now being treated in this manner.
What are these guys doing about the commoners who invested in different schemes of Bahria Town and are now stuck with them?
Honestly, it has still not be clear if Malik RIAZ is a hooligan or people are settling scores with him while ignoring the plight of those who have invested their hard money into these schemes?
