Pakistan recorded a trade deficit of $2.75 billion during July 2025, up over 44 percent over deficit of $1.90 billion reported in the same month of the last year.
On a month-on-month basis, the trade deficit rose by 16 percent over deficit of $2.372 billion recorded in June 2025.
Exports during July 2025 rose 16.9 percent year-on-year and 8.9 percent month-on-month to $2.69 billion.
Imports during the month rose by 29.2 percent year-on-year and 12.4 percent month-on-month to $5.4 billion.

Our worthy Prime Minister was very happy on the rise of exports goods in the month of July. Someone should also present to him swelling of negative trade deficit. Problem with our analysis is that only that portion of news is highlighted that shows the performance of rulers.
