Pakistan’s Trade Deficit Surges 44% to $2.75 Billion in July  

Pakistan recorded a trade deficit of $2.75 billion during July 2025, up over 44 percent over deficit of $1.90 billion reported in the same month of the last year.

On a month-on-month basis, the trade deficit rose by 16 percent over deficit of $2.372 billion recorded in June 2025.

Exports during July 2025 rose 16.9 percent year-on-year and 8.9 percent month-on-month to $2.69 billion.

Imports during the month rose by 29.2 percent year-on-year and 12.4 percent month-on-month to $5.4 billion.
