Changan Officially Launches Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG

Changan Pakistan has officially launched the much-anticipated Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG, offering significant upgrades to one of the brand’s most popular models.

Building on the original Karvaan’s reputation for versatility and durability, the new variant brings enhanced features, a refreshed design, and improved performance, making it a compelling option in the mini-van segment.

Exterior and Interior

The new Karvaan features updated projector halogen smoked headlamps, a chrome front grille, and 14-inch alloy wheels with 165/70R/14LT tires. Body-colored door handles and side mirrors, along with rain channels and fog lamps, add to the exterior appeal.

Inside, the Karvaan Power Plus UG offers a seven-seat configuration, wooden accents on door trims and dashboard, and improved seat comfort with adjustable headrests. A premium floor carpet, MP5 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and energy-absorbing steering wheel are among the key interior highlights.

Performance and Safety

The Karvaan Power Plus UG is equipped with an EA-12 engine featuring DOHC and Multipoint Fuel Injection technology, compliant with Euro IV emission standards. The vehicle uses MacPherson independent suspension in the front and leaf spring dependent suspension in the rear.

Safety is also enhanced with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, anti-theft alarm, seatbelts for all seats, and reverse camera with sensors.

Pricing and Booking

The new Changan Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG is priced at PKR 3,299,000. Bookings are now open with a down payment of PKR 600,000, and deliveries are expected to begin in October.
