The Finance Division announced a significant reduction of Rs. 12.84 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight, while petrol prices will remain unchanged.
The revised prices will take effect from August 16, 2025.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the new price of HSD has been set at Rs. 272.99 per litre, while petrol will continue to be sold at Rs. 264.61 per litre.
Additionally, the prices of superior kerosene oil and light diesel oil have been reduced by Rs, 7.19 per litre and Rs. 8.20 per litre, respectively.
