The Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has officially declared the Class 9th results for 2025, with more than 300,000 students appearing in the annual exams.
According to the released gazette, a total of 308,073 students appeared in the exams, out of 314,375 registered candidates. Of those, 138,894 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 45.08%.
Detailed Breakdown of Class 9th Results
Science Group: 235,247 students appeared, with 111,681 passing. This group recorded a pass rate of 47.47%.
Humanities Group: 72,826 students appeared, out of which 27,213 passed, translating to a pass percentage of 37.37%.
Government vs. Private Institutions
- Government Institutes: 109,625 students took the exams, and 44,390 passed. This results in a pass rate of 40.50%, with science boys showing the lowest performance at 29.45%.
- Private Institutes: 82,222 candidates appeared from private schools, and 55,698 passed, producing a pass percentage of 67.73%. Among them, female science students excelled with a 75.13% pass rate.
Private Candidates
Out of 116,226 private candidates, only 38,806 passed, reflecting a pass percentage of 33.39%. The lowest performance came from males in the humanities group, with a 21.07% success rate.
Gender-Wise Performance
- Boys: 145,634 appeared and 51,596 passed, a 31.46% pass rate.
- Girls: 162,439 appeared and 87,298 passed, a strong 53.75% pass rate.
