The government announced a reduction of Rs. 3 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight, while petrol prices will remain unchanged.
According to a notification from the Finance Division, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been fixed at Rs. 269.99 per litre, while petrol will remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per litre.
In addition, the price of superior kerosene oil has been slashed by Rs. 1.46 per litre to Rs. 176.81 and light diesel oil by Rs. 2.40 per litre to Rs. 159.76.
In its last review, the government reduced the price of diesel by Rs. 12.84 per litre, while keeping the price of petrol unchanged.
