Punjab School Textbooks Are Now Free to Download

The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) has made its entire collection of school textbooks available online for free, providing open access to students, teachers, and parents across the province. The initiative covers textbooks from Grade 1 through Grade 12 in both Urdu and English media.

How to Access

All textbooks can be downloaded through the official PCTB portal.  Visitors can select their class and medium, then download individual subject books in PDF format. The platform includes books for core subjects such as Urdu, English, Mathematics, General Science, Islamiat, Social Studies, Computer Science, and others.

Alongside the main PCTB portal, additional platforms are also available to help students.

• eLearn Punjab: This platform offers interactive versions of textbooks with video lessons, animations, and simulations. It focuses mainly on Science and Math for various grade levels.
• Ustad360 and Taleem360: These third-party platforms compile PCTB textbooks in an organized manner, allowing users to browse by class and subject for quick access to downloadable PDFs.

The textbooks are intended strictly for educational and personal use. All users are encouraged to rely on the official website for the most accurate and updated versions. The initiative ensures that students across Punjab, including those in remote areas, can study with standardized materials without cost barriers.
