Kia Reveals the New Stonic 2026 With a Modernistic Design

Kia has officially revealed the 2026 facelift of the Stonic, a compact crossover that has gained popularity in global markets for its urban practicality and affordability. The updated model introduces styling tweaks, new interior features, and improved efficiency to remain competitive in a fast-evolving segment.

Design and Feature Upgrades

Kia has refreshed the exterior of the 2026 Stonic with sharper LED headlights, a redesigned front grille, and sportier bumpers, enhancing the vehicle’s overall road presence.

Inside, the Stonic gains a more modern cabin with a larger infotainment display, upgraded connectivity features, and enhanced driver-assist systems aimed at improving both safety and user experience.

New Powertrain Options

In select global markets, the new Stonic will be available with mild-hybrid powertrains, in line with Kia’s efforts to increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions across its model range.

International Launch and Production Timeline

The facelifted Stonic made its global debut on September 1, 2025. Production is expected to begin later this year at Kia’s manufacturing facilities in South Korea and Slovakia. The sales rollout will begin in early 2026 in Korea and Europe, followed by launches in Australia, the Middle East, and South America by mid-2026.

A North American release is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.

No details are available for launch in Pakistan, but considering Lucky Motors’ track record, expect the facelift Stonic to hit the Pakistani market in late 2027 or 2028.

Stonic’s Status in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the Kia Stonic was introduced in late 2021 by Lucky Motors and is currently offered in EX and EX+ trims, priced between PKR 5.7 million and PKR 6.3 million. However, the locally available version remains the pre-facelift model.

  • The facelifted Stonic’s arrival in Pakistan is uncertain and may depend on several key factors:
  • Market Demand: Kia has prioritized the Sportage and Sorento in Pakistan due to stronger sales.
  • Import Restrictions: Ongoing CKD import limitations could delay the introduction of new models.
  • Price Sensitivity: With rising vehicle costs, Kia may take a cautious approach in introducing updated variants.
