A Cultural Celebration

Global Village is known for showcasing Dubai’s diversity through pavilions representing countries and communities from around the world. Last year’s edition featured 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, offering visitors everything from traditional foods and crafts to cultural performances.

The new season is expected to expand further, with additional pavilions, shows, and special features marking the milestone year.

Entertainment and Attractions

Beyond the cultural showcases, Global Village offers carnival rides, fireworks, concerts by international performers, and family-friendly shows throughout its run. The destination has become a beloved, budget-friendly day out for both residents and tourists.

30 Years of Growth

First launched as a small pop-up during the Dubai Shopping Festival in the mid-1990s, Global Village began in a car park near Dubai Creek. Over the years, it has shifted locations — from Oud Metha to Dubai Festival City — before moving to its permanent home at Dubailand in 2005, a site spanning 17.2 million square feet.

From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a global cultural hub, now celebrating three decades of bringing communities together in one place.
