The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will establish three new mega centers in Karachi by March 2026 to improve access to registration and identification services.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by NADRA Sindh Director General Aamir Ali Khan during a program at the University of Karachi. He said the new facilities will be set up in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town to provide greater convenience for the public.
According to Khan, NADRA has been working to resolve citizens’ concerns through the use of technology and to expand services across the province. He added that the agency’s mobile application, Pak ID, now enables users to complete many services from home, saving time and effort.
The DG noted that the participation of students and young people could play a key role in raising awareness about NADRA’s new services and encouraging wider use of digital platforms.
The expansion of mega centers is expected to reduce waiting times and improve service delivery in Karachi, a city where NADRA offices often face long queues and heavy demand for registration services.
