Chery Increases Prices of Tiggo 7, 8 and 9 PHEVs

Chery has increased the prices of its locally assembled Tiggo 7 PHEV, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and Tiggo 9 PHEV following the recent sales tax revision, although customers will temporarily pay lower prices than the fully revised rates until July 31, 2026.

The revised ex-factory price of the Tiggo 7 PHEV has increased from Rs. 9,499,000 to Rs. 10,949,000, while the Tiggo 8 PHEV has risen from Rs. 11,299,000 to Rs. 12,999,000. The Tiggo 9 PHEV has also seen a price increase from Rs. 13,694,000 to Rs. 15,749,000.

However, for a limited period ending July 31, customers will be able to purchase the three models at lower prices than the revised rates. During this period, the Tiggo 7 PHEV will be available for Rs. 9,999,000, the Tiggo 8 PHEV for Rs. 11,499,000, and the Tiggo 9 PHEV for Rs. 14,299,000.

Although these temporary prices are lower than the revised ex-factory rates, they remain higher than the vehicles’ previous prices before the sales tax revision.

The temporary pricing applies to existing customers and is available while stocks last. Unless the offer is extended, the fully revised prices are expected to apply after July 31, 2026.
