The numbers highlight a performance gap of nearly 25 percentage points between male and female students in the overall pass percentage.
Female students outperformed male students in every major group. The difference was most pronounced in humanities and pre-medical, where girls recorded significantly higher success rates. In commerce and general science, the female edge was also consistent, reinforcing the overall trend across the Gujranwala Board.
