The Punjab government has initiated the procurement of electric vehicles (EVs) for its officers, according to a report by City42. On September 18, 2025, officials from the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) conducted an inspection of the electric vehicles under consideration for purchase.
During the inspection, Proton Saga presented its electric vehicle to the Punjab government. The devilish beurocracy of the Punjab is always prone to embark upon misadventures and have no soft corner for the public, whose money is brutally thrown into such projects as contemplated in procurement of E Vehicles!
