The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has confirmed that Monsoon 2025 has officially ended in most parts of the country. The National Weather Forecasting Centre (NWFC) provided an update, stating that no significant weather events are expected in the coming days.
Hot and dry conditions are expected in the flood-affected areas of Punjab and Sindh during the upcoming week. The PMD has forecasted that temperatures will rise, particularly during the daytime, and these areas may experience discomfort due to the heat.
The PMD predicts that nighttime temperatures in the upper regions of the country will remain moderate, providing some relief. However, daytime temperatures in the plains are expected to be hot, affecting daily activities across the country.
The PMD encourages the public to stay updated on daily weather forecasts by visiting its official website or using the Pak Weather application. Alerts and additional weather information are also available through the department’s social media platforms and the Community Alert Platform (CAP).
