The federal government has decided to return the amounts deposited during the Hajj registration process to those applicants who were unable to proceed with the pilgrimage due to medical reasons or other valid circumstances.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued formal guidelines for the refund process. According to the policy, affected pilgrims or their families can apply for reimbursement, provided they meet certain conditions.
Applicants must submit a copy of their national identity card, the original receipt of the first installment paid to the bank, and supporting medical reports. In the case of a deceased applicant, a death certificate will also be required.
Refund requests must be addressed to the Accounts Officer of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, along with all relevant documents for verification.
