Shabbir Tiles Appoints Syed Abul Fazal Rizvi as New CEO

Shabbir Tiles and Ceramics Limited has announced the appointment of Syed Abul Fazal Rizvi as its new chief executive officer, effective November 3, 2025.

The company said Rizvi will succeed Syed Masood Abbas Jaffery, who will step down from the role and oversee the smooth transfer of responsibilities.

The appointment was approved by the board of directors in line with Section 5.6.1 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rulebook.

Mr. Rizvi comes with over 25 years of diversified experience in developing and executing large-scale, multi-billion dollar green & brown-field projects involving both local and foreign sponsors from the private and public sectors. Further, he has over 15 years of hands-on experience in design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of chemical fertilizer plants.

He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company.  During his professional career, Mr. Rizvi also served Engro Powergen Thar Limited and Engro Fertilizer Limited in various leadership roles.

He has done his Bachelor’s & Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and also completed the Leadership program from INSEAD, France.
