Honda has launched its first full-size electric motorcycle, the WN7, in Europe, marking a step toward the company’s plan to make all of its motorcycles carbon-neutral by the 2040s.
The WN7 is Honda’s first fixed-battery electric naked model and represents the production version of the EV Fun Concept that was unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan in 2024.
The naming convention reflects its design theme, with W standing for “Be the Wind,” N for “Naked,” and 7 denoting the output class. Honda has priced the motorcycle at £12,999, which is roughly Rs. 4.9 million in Pakistani currency.
Key specifications released by the company include:
- Range: Over 130 kilometers per charge
- Battery: Fixed lithium-ion, CCS2 fast charging (20% to 80% in around 30 minutes)
- Home Charging: Full charge in under three hours
- Performance: Comparable to 600cc internal combustion motorcycles in output and 1000cc models in torque
- Design: Slim, EV-specific styling
- Technology: 5-inch TFT screen with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity
The WN7 signals Honda’s entry into the larger electric motorcycle market, following earlier focus on electric scooters and commuter models.

This doesn’t make any sense in Pakistani money, since 4.9mil is a price for a Suzuki swift GLX which carries 4 and has a range of over 500Km on a 35 liter tank.
Pakistani buyers need a daily commute, unfortunately, all electric vehicles (apart from the Scooty regime) don’t make any sense for economically strained Pakistani buyers.

I think it should be up to 300 kilometers on a single charge.
Agree, I would stick to the petrol version for the time being until distance per charge improved to an acceptable level.

It’s price is 5 Million who will buy it, rather we can buy Kawasaki ninja h2r in 10 Million pkr which is 1000 times better thrn this even hundreds time better then supra. So i think buying it for 5million is wastage of money instead we can buy h2r in 10 Million
Bhai ye kitny ka h
4.9 million?? Seriously. I can only think of no one to buy at such price. Honda has produced good bikes and that era was “Economically stable”
I believe if Honda could deliver EV models at a lower quo, there is a huge market segment available to cover its share. But that’s IF it happens.
