A teacher in Sindh’s Khairpur district brutally assaulted a student, injuring him over a minor issue, sparking outrage among parents and locals.
According to reports, the incident took place in a local school where a seventh-grade student asked his teacher for permission to leave the classroom to drink water. The request angered the teacher, identified as Zubair Abro, who allegedly hit the student repeatedly, causing a head injury.
Witnesses said the other students tried to record the incident on their mobile phones, but the teacher attempted to snatch the devices to stop them from filming.
The injured student said this was not the first time the teacher had resorted to violence, claiming that he often beats students without reason.
Parents and community members have condemned the incident and urged education authorities to take immediate action against the teacher. They have demanded strict measures to prevent such cases of violence in schools and ensure the safety of students.
