The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced revised rates for new smart meter connections, according to a notification.
As per the notification issued by GMC & CS FESCO, Mubashir Hayat Rao, the cost of a single-phase smart meter connection has been set at Rs. 23,500. For line lengths of up to 40 meters, the single-phase connection will cost Rs. 26,000.
The company has also revised the charges for three-phase connections. The new price for a standard three-phase smart meter is Rs. 65,500, while connections with service lines up to 40 meters will cost Rs. 76,000.
In cases where the service line extends beyond 40 meters, an additional estimate will be prepared according to the NEPRA-approved formula.
FESCO has directed all Superintending Engineers (SEs) to implement the updated rates across their respective divisions.

They forgot to mention that 10k to 15k bribe for single phase and 25k to 35k for 3 phase is must. And for green meter they charge 80k to 130k otherwise you will be treated like an animal.
