Authorities have arrested TikToker Asif Shah, a suspect wanted in multiple cases, shortly after he landed at Multan Airport from Dubai, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) confirmed.
According to an NCCIA spokesperson, Shah’s name had been placed on both the Provisional Control List (PCL) and the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) before his arrival. The spokesperson stated that the National Commission for Child Rights, in collaboration with several foreign organizations, played a crucial role in identifying the suspect.
Officials said a case has been registered under various sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The agency has begun a detailed investigation to determine the extent of Shah’s alleged involvement in the offenses.
