The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has uncovered a major online fraud network that was deceiving citizens under the guise of offering jobs and training programs.
According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the operation was conducted at a private school located on Bosan Road, where officials arrested eight suspects involved in defrauding people of millions of rupees.
The accused were operating under the name “Natural Life Skill Training Institute,” luring victims with promises of online employment and professional training. Those arrested include the alleged mastermind, Abdul Ghaffar, along with Nisar Ahmed, Muawiya, Huzaifa Tanveer, Hammad Hasan, Asad Saleem, Khalid, and Zain Abbas.
Investigators said the suspects collected hefty “fees” from applicants and used digital platforms to run their scam. During the raid, authorities seized multiple mobile phones, digital devices, and financial records. Evidence of blackmail and fraudulent activity was also recovered from WhatsApp and Telegram groups linked to the network.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 252/2025 in accordance with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. The NCCIA confirmed that further investigation is underway.
