Capital Smart Motors has officially launched the JMEV Elight, expanding Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle lineup. The sleek all-electric sedan will be available in two variants — Elight Comfort (Rs. 8,499,000) and Elight Premium (Rs. 9,999,000) — targeting buyers looking for a practical yet tech-forward EV.
Powered by a 56.3 kWh battery paired with a 165 kW motor, the Elight claims a driving range of up to 500 km on a single charge. Drivers can select between Eco, Normal, and Sport modes, allowing the vehicle to adapt to different road and performance needs.
Inside, the Elight features a 14.6-inch multimedia touchscreen, offering a clean and modern digital interface. The design emphasizes simplicity and ease of use, aligning with current EV interior trends seen globally.
Charging convenience is another strong point — the AC charger (7 kW) can fully recharge the car in about 10 hours, while the DC fast charger can power it from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
