The Sindh government has approved the execution of a concession agreement for the NED Science and Technology Park Project, to be established within the premises of NED University.
Designed as a green building, it will be the first university-based science and technology park in Pakistan.
The agreement will be signed with Enertech Holding Company, a subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority, under a government-to-government (G2G) arrangement in public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
The signing ceremony is expected to take place by the end of October 2025.

It is not the first one in Pakistan. NUST Islamabad already has one, inaugurated in 2019 and running well.
It’s will not be first one as NUST has already set up technology park in its premises named NSTP which is functioning since last 4 years and contributing significantly towards its goals.
Who can visit?
Does the NSTP at NUST not qualify as a University based Science and Technology Park?
Excellent initiative from the government of SIND. Thank you very much!
Now go ahead with some super work on street, bridges and underpasses, and pay attention to water, sewage, hygiene, cleanliness and security on roads.
