BISE Lahore to Replace Paper Rechecking With a New System

The Lahore Board has decided to change the procedure for rechecking exam papers, introducing a new system of re-marking instead. Controller of Examinations Tausif ur Rehman said that the proposal will be implemented after approval from the provincial cabinet.

He explained that under the current rechecking process, only the counting of marks and the identification of missed questions are reviewed. The new re-marking system is being introduced to ensure greater transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.

Tausif ur Rehman added that the initiative follows the directions of the provincial education minister, and the board has already begun working on its implementation. He said the new system would help address students’ complaints more effectively.
