Veteran Actor Breaks His Leg During Morning Walk on Damaged Road

Veteran Pakistani film star Mustafa Qureshi suffered a leg fracture after tripping on a dug-up section of a road during his morning walk in Karachi.

The actor, who has appeared in more than 700 films, said the accident happened when his foot got caught in an uneven part of the road, causing him to fall hard.

“I slipped when my foot got stuck in the broken road. My head hit the pavement — my eye was saved, but my leg was fractured,” Qureshi shared.

Expressing frustration over the city’s poor infrastructure, he added, “May Allah give wisdom to those in charge to fix Karachi’s roads.”

According to his family, doctors have advised six weeks of complete rest for the veteran actor while he recovers from the injury.

Mustafa Qureshi is a legendary film and television actor known for his commanding voice and strong screen presence. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in more than 700 films in both Urdu and Punjabi languages.

He gained nationwide fame for his unforgettable role as Noori Natt in the 1979 classic Maula Jatt, which made him one of the most iconic villains in Pakistani cinema.
