The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) DG Khan reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend that has been observed in previous years.
Female candidates consistently posted higher pass percentages than males in every stream, with the largest differences seen in humanities and general science. The gender gap in pass rates exceeds 16% overall. Even in science groups like pre-medical and pre-engineering, girls maintained an advantage, underscoring their stronger academic performance in the DG Khan Board.
