Girls VS Boys: BISE Sahiwal 11th Class Results 2025 – Who Won?

The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Sahiwal reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend from previous years.

Overall Pass Percentage

  • Boys: 18,021 appeared, 8,473 passed – 47.02%
  • Girls: 24,508 appeared, 14,709 passed – 60.02%
  • Combined: 42,529 appeared, 23,182 passed – 54.51%

Group-wise (Overall):

Humanities Group

  • Male: 6,822 appeared, 1,978 passed – 28.99%
  • Female: 9,145 appeared, 4,630 passed – 50.63%

Pre-Medical Group

  • Male: 2,889 appeared, 1,718 passed – 59.47%
  • Female: 8,037 appeared, 5,105 passed – 63.52%

Pre-Engineering Group

  • Male: 1,120 appeared, 807 passed – 72.05%
  • Female: 690 appeared, 529 passed – 76.67%

General Science Group

  • Male: 6,906 appeared, 3,808 passed – 55.14%
  • Female: 6,504 appeared, 4,329 passed – 66.56%

Commerce Group

  • Male: 284 appeared, 162 passed – 57.04%
  • Female: 126 appeared, 111 passed – 88.10%

Gender Gap in Academic Performance

Female students outperformed male students in every group, with especially wide margins in the humanities and commerce categories. In science streams, girls also maintained higher pass rates, particularly in pre-medical and general science groups.
