The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Baghbanpura Subdivision carried out a raid at Bashir Sweets and Bakers and uncovered large-scale electricity theft worth millions of rupees, reported City42 news channel.
According to the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Baghbanpura, the bakery was found stealing electricity through a direct supply connection. The power connection to the premises was immediately disconnected following the discovery.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SE Eastern Umar Bilal and XEN Baghbanpura Abid Gujar. LESCO officials said strict action will continue against those involved in power theft.
