Paper Rechecking Schedule Announced for Class 11th Students

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has begun accepting applications for re-checking of Intermediate Part 1 examination papers. Students who are not satisfied with their results now have the option to request a review of their answer sheets. The re-checking window will remain open until October 30.

Applications for paper re-checking must be submitted online through the official BISE Lahore website. This online system enables candidates to apply from the comfort of their homes and track their requests without needing to visit the board office. The board has also provided detailed instructions and FAQs on its website to guide students through the process.

The fee for re-checking each paper is set at Rs 1,200. According to board officials, if the re-checking process identifies a genuine marking or totaling error, the fee will be fully refunded to the candidate. If no error is found, the fee is non-refundable.

During re-checking, examiners verify the totaling of marks and ensure that all answers have been marked. However, they do not re-evaluate the answers themselves. The process is designed to identify clerical or counting mistakes, as well as any unchecked answers.

Board representatives have advised students to carefully select which papers they want re-checked and to submit their applications well before the October 30 deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
