CDA Completes Eco-Friendly Renovation of Islamabad’s Famous Park

The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Environment Wing has completed the eco-friendly renovation of the Triangular Garden in F-9 Park, in partnership with the private sector.

According to officials, the project is part of CDA’s broader plan to upgrade recreational areas across Islamabad while promoting sustainable urban development. The revamped garden now features an improved children’s play zone for safer and more enjoyable family visits, along with a refurbished walking track.

A CDA spokesperson noted that public-private partnerships are essential for maintaining high-quality public facilities without placing additional strain on government resources.

Situated in Islamabad’s largest park, the Triangular Garden is a favorite spot for families, joggers, and nature lovers. The recent improvements are expected to attract more visitors and strengthen the park’s reputation as one of the city’s top green spaces.

Environmental experts have welcomed the initiative, calling it a model for sustainable urban management. They said such collaborations not only upgrade public infrastructure but also promote a stronger sense of community ownership and environmental responsibility.

  • An extremely informative article, doesn’t state what the improvements were or how they are eco friendly. Literally mind numbing nonesense.

  • Increase tickets per person and car.dadicated enough area for amusement park.keep open area yoga and karate classes.
I think in this way park generate good revenue.

  • Plz make sure that the dust bins placed around the park are emptied frequently and place cameras around, keep a fine for people throwing garbage around, and do not let vendors enter the park
