TikTokers Arrested in KP for Posting Indecent Videos

Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have raised serious concerns over the growing circulation of obscene videos, explicit live streams, and indecent material on social media platforms such as TikTok and Facebook through fake accounts.

Officials revealed that individuals aged between 14 and 30 years — including boys, girls, and transgender persons — have been producing vulgar videos in the Pashto language, misleading the youth and promoting unethical behavior online.

In Swabi, police arrested a TikToker identified as Abdul Moez, who allegedly posed as a woman and created immoral videos to gain followers. The arrest followed several public complaints lodged against him.

Meanwhile, in Peshawar, law enforcement detained a mother-daughter duo known by their TikTok handle “Alisha 007” for allegedly recording and uploading obscene videos on the platform.

Speaking on the matter, SSP Operations Masood Ahmed Bangash said police have registered more than 7,000 cases this year related to illegal display of weapons, street crimes, and other unlawful activities across the province.

The provincial authorities have urged citizens to report fake or inappropriate social media accounts and cooperate with the police to stop the spread of immoral content online. Officials warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found misusing social media platforms for indecent or criminal purposes.
