Punjab Launches Helpline to Report Missing Facilities in Schools

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that the provincial government has completed compiling data on schools lacking essential facilities and additional classrooms.

The minister assured that all missing infrastructure in public schools will be addressed, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. In an official statement, Rana Sikandar Hayat said that data for additional classrooms and missing facilities across schools in Punjab has been gathered.

He urged school heads and teachers to immediately report any schools that still lack necessary amenities, including classrooms, clean drinking water, boundary walls, or toilet blocks, to the Education Helpline at 0316-0261408.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment, stating, “As announced by Madam Chief Minister, we will ensure that 100 percent of missing facilities are provided across Punjab’s schools, Inshallah.”

The education department has already begun the process of identifying schools where improvement work is needed. The initiative aims to create a safer and more conducive learning environment for students, particularly in rural and underdeveloped areas.
