4 Drug Suppliers Including a Woman Given a Total of 38 Years in Jail

Rawalpindi courts have sentenced four convicted drug suppliers — including one woman — to a collective 38 years in prison and imposed fines totaling Rs550,000 in separate narcotics cases, 24NewsHD reported on Tuesday.

  • Musarrat Bibi, arrested by Pirwadhai Police with 1.8 kg hashish, received 9 years in jail and a Rs200,000 fine.
  • Farhan Khan, caught with 2 kg of hashish in a case registered at Dhamial Police Station, was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment and a Rs150,000 fine.
  • Muhammad Waqas, found with 1.52 kg of hashish in Saddar Barooni jurisdiction, was given 9 years in jail and a Rs100,000 fine.
  • Gul Niaz, arrested by Taxila Police after seizure of 1.65 kg opium, was also sentenced to 9 years along with a Rs100,000 fine.

The verdicts were delivered by Additional Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Masood Ahmed Qureshi, Additional Sessions Judge Taxila Zafar Nawaz Malik, and Special Judge Narcotics Rawalpindi Farhat Jabeen Rana.
