A woman accused in the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FEHA) fraud case managed to flee from an FIA court in Islamabad on Tuesday after her bail plea was rejected.
The case was heard by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Central Court Judge Humayun Dilawar, who dismissed the bail petitions of both accused — Uzma Batool and Zakir Hussain.
Zakir Hussain, who served as a patwari in the Federal Employees Housing Authority, and his co-accused were charged with exceeding their official powers and illegally allotting plots to individuals not entitled to them.
According to the FIA, the accused caused financial loss and violated the legal rights of genuine property owners.
However, moments after the judge announced the decision, Uzma Batool quietly exited the courtroom and disappeared before authorities could detain her.

Court houses are decent environments. If this person runs away, the next accused person will be in chains and trust me, the police do chain people. Why do you want such treatment?
Who is your message addressed to? The person who escaped? You think she cares about other detainees?
Woman should participate in next Olympic running title m sure she will get d gold medal for our country
Yet another inside job. Very difficult to believe she didn’t have help from the authorities.
What a farce 🤣😂
Compromised she must be given a secure passage by corrupt police
ملزمہ عُزمہ بتول کو فی الفور پکڑا جائے۔ کرپٹ لوگوں کے لیے زمین تنگ کر دی جائے۔
Escape of the accused woman could not have been possible without connivance of FIA & Court Staff. A citizen caught in a petty crime is not able to flee. But, such culprits involved in large financial scams are overlooked in their misadventures!
