The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced a paid internship program offering young graduates across Pakistan an opportunity to gain professional experience in one of the country’s most prestigious public sector organizations.
The initiative aims to provide hands-on learning and workplace exposure for fresh graduates eager to develop professional ethics, workplace discipline, and technical expertise under the supervision of experienced professionals. The internship will last for eight weeks (two months), and each selected intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000.
A total of 50 internship seats have been announced under the program, distributed as follows:
The internship is open to fresh or recent graduates (within the last three years) with a minimum CGPA of 2.8. Applicants must be 26 years of age or younger at the time of application. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
The seats are divided under open quota (40%) and provincial quota (60%), with the following distribution:
