As winter approaches, gas prices may rise for consumers in Sindh and Balochistan. Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has submitted a request to OGRA for a price increase.
The company has asked for a hike of Rs. 125.41 per MMBTU for Sindh and Balochistan consumers. This proposed increase is for the current financial year.
SSGC has requested that the average gas price for Sindh and Balochistan be set at Rs. 1,783.96 per MMBTU.
OGRA will hold a public hearing on the matter in Karachi on November 11.
