Balochistan Govt to Launch People’s Minority Card

The Balochistan government has announced plans to launch the People’s Minority Card, aiming to improve access to essential services for minority communities across the province.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti approved the initiative during a high-level consultative meeting. The meeting focused on key reforms to boost minority self-reliance through targeted programs in education, healthcare, employment, and entrepreneurship.

The new card will help minority citizens easily access services in education, health, business, and employment. The government hopes this move will remove barriers and promote equal opportunities for all.

To support the Peoples Minority Card, the chief minister has approved an initial allocation of Rs500 million for the current fiscal year. This funding will help launch and sustain the program as it rolls out across Balochistan.

Officials say the Peoples Minority Card is part of a broader push to empower minority communities and ensure they benefit from government reforms and social programs.
