Samsung Electronics is set to unveil its next flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event expected to take place on February 25 in San Francisco. This will mark Samsung’s first ever launch event in San Francisco, as per a new report by X user @Jukanlosreve.
Sources familiar with the matter noted that the company chose San Francisco as the venue due to its growing reputation as a global center for artificial intelligence development. The reports adds that preparations are already underway for the launch even though we are a few months away still.
The upcoming event is expected to place heavy emphasis on AI integration. While previous Unpacked events typically took place in late January or early February, this year’s event has been pushed to late February, reportedly due to internal changes in the product lineup.
Initially, Samsung had planned to replace the base model with a “Pro” and introduce an “Edge” version instead of the traditional “Plus.” However, following lackluster market response to the S25 Edge, the company decided to stick with its familiar trio: Base, Plus, and Ultra.
More details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 trio should appear as the launch date draws near.
