Indian Franchise Signs Two Pakistani Cricketers for T10 League

Pakistan’s cricketers’ presence in this year’s Abu Dhabi T10 League has grown by two after the Delhi Bulls announced the signing of Iftikhar Ahmed and Ubaid Shah to their roster.

The duo will suit up for the two-time finalists in the 9th edition of the league, scheduled from November 18 to 30.

The franchise confirmed both signings on social media, describing them as key additions to a squad already stacked with power hitters and pace options.

For 19-year-old Ubaid Shah, this marks his first-ever international franchise contract—a major step for the youngster who has already made waves in Pakistan’s domestic scene and junior teams. Ubaid made his name in PSL X earlier this year, impressing for Multan Sultans with 12 wickets in 11 matches, combining sharp pace with control well beyond his years. His inclusion signals the Bulls’ intent to build a dynamic bowling unit for the fast-paced T10 format.

Meanwhile, Iftikhar Ahmed continues his globetrotting franchise career. The experienced all-rounder brings both finishing power and composure to the Bulls’ middle order. Iftikhar has already left his mark across major leagues—including the CPL, BPL, and LPL—and now looks to extend his form in the UAE.

Iftikhar and Ubaid aren’t the only Pakistanis in this Delhi Bulls team. The franchise had earlier roped in Salman Irshad and Mir Hamza during the October 19 player draft, further strengthening their fast-bowling depth.

This year’s Abu Dhabi T10 will feature a strong Pakistani contingent across franchises. The Deccan Gladiators secured Pakistan’s maverick spinner Usman Tariq as well as emerging fast bowler Ali Raza, while Ajman Titans will have Zaman Khan, Asif Ali, and Akif Javed in their lineup. Shahnawaz Dahani will don the colours of Northern Warriors, while Quetta Qvalry boasts a healthy Pakistani representation too.

With big names, young firepower, and familiar faces lighting up the Abu Dhabi T10 league, Pakistani fans will have plenty to cheer for when the world’s shortest cricket format returns to the UAE this month.
