Motorola has added two new models to its G-series lineup with the official unveiling of the Moto G57 and Moto G57 Power. The launch follows the recent debut of the Moto G67 Power and continues the company’s approach of offering feature-packed smartphones with a focus on durability and battery strength.
The only difference between the Moto G57 and G57 Power is the battery capacity.
Design and Display
Both devices come equipped with a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,050 nits of peak brightness. Although the type isn’t explicitly stated, the brightness level indicates the use of an LCD panel. Gorilla Glass 7i covers the screen for added protection against scratches and impact.
The phones have earned an IP64 rating, which means they can withstand exposure to dust and splashes. In addition, they meet MIL-STD-810H standards, confirming their ability to endure conditions like high temperatures, abrupt pressure shifts, and accidental drops. Motorola is offering both models in four Pantone color options: Corsair, Fluidity, Pink Lemonade, and Regatta.
Internals and Software
The Moto G57 series runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and is available with 4GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants. Both models ship with Android 16, bringing the latest software features to the mid-range segment.
Cameras
On the rear, the Moto G57 series features a 50MP primary sensor powered by Sony’s Lytia LYT-600, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. An 8MP front-facing camera is positioned within the display for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Pricing
As mentioned earlier, the key difference between the two models lies in battery capacity. The Moto G57 includes a 5,200 mAh battery, while the G57 Power increases that to an impressive 7,000 mAh. Both variants also support fast charging at speeds of up to 30W.
Pricing varies slightly between regions. The Moto G57 is now available for approximately $265. The G57 Power, with its larger battery, is around $297.
