Motorola has officially introduced the latest additions to its budget-friendly lineup: the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026). Both models offer practical features, updated hardware, and modern software, making them solid options for budget-conscious buyers.
The two smartphones only differ slightly in specifications but are identical in terms of design. Here are the details:
Design and Display
Both the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) come with a 6.7-inch display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 1,000 nits of brightness in high-brightness mode and is shielded by Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.
Each device holds an IP52 rating, providing basic protection against dust and splashes. The phones are finished in a leather-like texture, with the Moto G (2026) available in Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Cattleya Orchid, while the Moto G Play (2026) comes in Pantone Tapestry.

Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and come preloaded with Android 16, ensuring a current and optimized software experience out of the box.
