Chery has introduced the locally assembled Tiggo 8 PHEV in Pakistan, expanding its lineup in the country’s hybrid SUV segment. Featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain and premium design, the Tiggo 8 PHEV is expected to attract buyers looking for advanced performance and comfort.
The company has not yet announced the official price or delivery timeline for the new model.
Powered by a combined output of 543 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque, the Tiggo 8 PHEV comes equipped with an 18.3 kWh battery, offering up to 77 kilometers of electric-only range and a total combined range of about 1,020 kilometers.
It supports 40 kW DC fast charging that can charge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. Key features include a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment display, a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a Sony 12-speaker sound system.
Safety highlights include 10 airbags, ADAS technology, and a 360-degree camera. The model also offers luxury touches such as ventilated electric seats, ambient lighting, and dual-zone climate control.
