Pakistan’s auto market showed mixed performance in October 2025, with Toyota’s Indus Motor Company and Honda Atlas Cars posting strong growth while Suzuki struggled with a sharp sales decline, according to data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) compiled by Topline Securities.
Toyota (INDU) recorded the highest month-on-month growth in October, with sales climbing 44% to 4,529 units.
Combined sales of Corolla, Yaris, and Cross models rose 41% from the previous month and 78% year-on-year to 3,742 units.
Fortuner and IMV models followed with a 58% monthly and 83% annual rise to 787 units.
Honda Atlas Cars (HCAR) achieved a 72% year-on-year rise and a 13% monthly increase to 2,607 units, supported by steady demand for City and Civic models.
In contrast, Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) reported an 18% drop in sales from September, falling to 7,403 units.
The company’s decline was driven by weak demand for Swift, Ravi, and Every models, which saw month-on-month decreases of 17%, 84%, and 28%, respectively.
Production changes and the discontinuation of older models such as Bolan have affected Suzuki’s volumes throughout the year.
Hyundai Nishat Motors also performed well, recording an 82% yearly increase as Tucson and Elantra models gained momentum.
Pakistan’s overall car sales rose 32% year-on-year and 1% month-on-month to 17,333 units in October. Improved consumer sentiment, lower interest rates, and easing inflation contributed to the growth. Total passenger car sales during the first four months of the fiscal year reached 59,600 units, up 46% from the same period last year.
Sazgar Engineering Works (SAZEW) sold 1,379 units, marking a 38% annual rise despite a 3% monthly dip. Other smaller manufacturers also saw double-digit gains.
The motorbike and three-wheeler segment grew 20% year-on-year and 4% month-on-month to 165,500 units. Atlas Honda (ATLH) hit a record with 140,000 units sold — its highest monthly total yet. Tractor sales soared 67% year-on-year and nearly quadrupled from September to 2,886 units, boosted by the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme.
Truck and bus sales doubled from a year earlier to 766 units, though they declined 7% from September.
