Pakistan Women’s Tour of South Africa Finalized

The Pakistan women’s cricket team is gearing up for a major overseas assignment, with the tour of South Africa officially confirmed for February–March 2026.

The two sides will face off in a six-match white-ball series, featuring three ODIs and three T20 Internationals across multiple venues.

According to the announced schedule, the T20I series will open on February 10 in Potchefstroom, followed by the second T20I on February 13 in Benoni and the final match on February 15 in Kimberley.

The action will then shift to the ODI leg, starting on February 22 in Bloemfontein, before moving to Centurion on February 25 and concluding in Durban on March 1.

The tour holds great significance for Pakistan as it forms part of their preparation for next year’s ICC Women’s Championship fixtures and the build-up to the T20 World Cup. With emerging talents stepping up alongside seasoned names, the series will be a key test of depth, adaptability, and consistency in South African conditions.

The PCB is also looking to capitalize on this tour to strengthen Pakistan’s standing in women’s cricket, especially after a promising home season and the recent unveiling of the National Women’s One-Day Tournament — a sign of growing investment and attention toward the women’s game.

Pakistan women’s cricket team and South Africa have become well acquainted in recent years, with the Proteas visiting Pakistan for an ODI tour earlier this year as well.

Cricket fans back home will be keeping a close eye on how the national side performs away from home, with several players expected to play defining roles in shaping Pakistan’s campaign in 2026.
