Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), in collaboration with the Center for International Cooperation under Russia’s Ministry of Education, will launch a three-month Russian language course in November 2025.
The program will be offered through the Russian Open Education Center at AIOU’s main campus in Islamabad.
A qualified Russian instructor will conduct face-to-face classes three days a week, with each session lasting three hours.
The course includes continuous assessments and a final exam.
Successful candidates will receive an official certificate, which can support applications for Master’s and PhD scholarships in Russia and Central Asian states.
AIOU clarified that it will not provide accommodation, travel, or refreshments, and participants must manage these arrangements independently.
The fee for the full three-month program is Rs. 5,000.
