Islamabad Traffic Police has deployed facilitation vans across the capital from November 17 to 23, 2025, to provide licensing and vehicle documentation services to citizens. The mobile units will operate daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
An ITP official told APP that the vans will offer driving licence renewal, duplicate licences, learner permits, international driving permits, character certificates and vehicle documentation services. ASI Younas will supervise all facilitation vans. Citizens may call the ITP helpline at 1915 for assistance.
On November 17 Monday PS on Wheel, led by SI Asim Zaidi, will be at the check post at Zero Point on Srinagar Highway. Van I GAC-709 will operate at the check post Faizabad Faisal Avenue. Van II GAC-656 will serve at Khanna Bridge check post. Van III GD-896 will be at the check post near the Foreign Office.
On November 18 Tuesday PS on Wheel will be near Zia Masjid. Van I will be at the B-17 Multi Gardens Office. Van II will be at the check post at G-14 Islamabad Chowk. Van III will remain at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On November 19 Wednesday PS on Wheel will return to the check post at Zero Point. Van I will serve at the check post on 9th Avenue. Van II will be at SDPO Office Humak. Van III will be at Islamabad High Court.
On November 20 Thursday PS on Wheel will be at NUML University. Van I will be at Ghouri Town Kalma Chowk. Van II will be at A, B and C Block Pak Secretariat. Van III will continue at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On November 21 Friday PS on Wheel will be at Faisal Masjid. Van I will be at Bari Imam House. Van II will be at the check post at G-14 Islamabad Chowk. Van III will be at Parliament House.
On November 22 Saturday PS on Wheel will be at Fancy Gate Pak Secretariat. Van I will be at the check post Faizabad Faisal Avenue. Van II will be at Tarnol Benazir Chowk. Van III will be at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On November 23 Sunday PS on Wheel will be at Trail-V Margalla Road. Van I will be at Traffic Office Faizabad. Van II will be at Police Lines H-11. Van III will be at Islamabad Club.
The spokesperson asked citizens to carry original CNIC and original vehicle registration documents, follow queue discipline and use the 1915 helpline for real time guidance.
