OnePlus 15 Gets Its First Major Update Just One Day After Global Launch

The OnePlus 15 made its debut in China last month and expanded to global markets yesterday. Only a day later, the first software update for international units began rolling out, meaning new buyers will receive it immediately after setting up the device.

The update is labeled OxygenOS 16.0.1.303, built on Android 16. It is currently being delivered over the air to users in India, under firmware version CPH2745_16.0.1.303(EX01), and in the European Union, under version CPH2747_16.0.1.303(EX01).

The software package brings the November 2025 security patch, along with several functional improvements across the system. App launches from the Home screen are now faster, and users can customize widget names. The update also allows resizing of the clock in Flux themes, and widgets can be dragged onto each other to create stacks.

The Photos app gains automatic straightening when cropping and rotating portrait or architectural images. Videos can now be set as ringtones. Virus scanning performance has been improved, and the Ring fingerprint animation has been updated.

OnePlus has also refined the interface for the AI LinkBoost Network Engine. Users will receive real-time notifications about network acceleration in weak signal environments. The update further adds options to test network speed and view detailed network status information.
